内容記述 | Objectives:The non-competitive runners is increasing, and the frequency of injuries is increasing accordingly. The purpose of this study was to clarify the characteristics of non-competitive runners’ dysfunction, asymmetry, and painful movement using the Functional Movement Screen (FMS). Design:Cross-sectional study Methods: The non-competitive runners (n = 36) was conducted. The FMS consists of 7 tests: shoulder mobility reaching(SMR),active straight leg raise(ASLR),deep squat(DS),hurdle step(HS),in-line lunge(ILL),trunk stability push-up(TSPU) and rotary stability(RS). The shoulder mobility, trunk stability push-up,and rotary stability tests were combined with an accompanying clearing test to assess pain. Each sub-test was scored on an ordinal scale from 0 to 3 and summed to give a composite score out of 21.Composite scores≤14 were operationally defined as indicating dysfunctional movement. Players scoring differently on left and right sides were considered asymmetrical. Results: In the total score, the players with 14 points or more were 36% of the total, and runners with less than 14 players accounted for 64%. There were 77.8% (n=28) runners with at least one asymmetric score and 41.7% (n=15) for runners with at least one or more pain scores. In the test items with different actions on the left and right sides, the percentage of asymmetry was 36.1% for HS, 44.4% for SM, 13.9% for RS, 22.2% for IL and 22.2% for ASLR. Conclusions: In this study, it was suggested that non-competitive runners often have asymmetric behavior patterns, and that many games compete while having pain. |
